How to determine whether this size fits your boat?

Taking three simple measurements will help you quickly and easily identify the boat top that will work best for you. The diagram above outlines the measurements of the boat top.

Consider: The combination of length and height will determine the amount of shade your boat top will provide. If you want to shade the driver and passengers in the back, you'll probably want the longest bimini top that will fit your boat, while if you are normally fishing alone, a shorter top may provide all the shade you need while allowing you more clear area to play fish. How will you use your bimini most frequently?

Width: This is the most critical measurement for getting the right fit on your boat. Determine the width of the top: Measure from mounting point (where top attachs) on one side of the boat to the same location on the opposite side of the boat. (Note this is not the same as the beam or width of the boat) Horizontal hinges are provided to mount on gunwale or other flat surfaces, while vertical mounts can be mounted on side walls, allowing flexibility in mounting. Our Bimini Tops come with a universal hinge that can be mounted horizontal or vertical.

Our boat top frames have 20cm of adjustment, so just select the width band that contains your measurement.

Height: From mounting location (where the top will attach) measure straight up with a tape measure for the correct top height. Your clearance will be the height from the deck to the point you mount the main hinge, plus the height of the bimini.
